White Belt Requirements

Signifies innocence as that of a beginning student
who has no previous knowledge of Tae Kwon Do.

Numbers One Through Ten:
  1 - Hanna
2 - Dool
3 - Set
4 - Net
5 - Dassuht
  6 - Yeuh Suht
7 - Illgup
8 - Yeuh dul
9 - Ahop
10 - Yeul


STANCES:
  1. Horseback Riding Stance - Feet one and one half shoulder width apart and bend your knees as if to squat on a horse.  Place one fist in front and one on you side.
  2. Sparring Stance - Feet pointing forward, step your right leg back one shoulder length, flex you knees and raise both fists placing them beside your face.

KICKS:
  1. Ax Kick - Swing your rear leg up in front of your body and strike down on the target with your heel.
  2. Front Kick - Point your kicking knee at your target, snap and extend your kicking leg and strike with the ball.
  3. Round Kick - Pivot your supporting leg 180 degrees, aim your knee at the target and strike with the instep.
